Beginning in early 2013, NicaLove has had a presence in Nicaragua. With its focus on rural and underserved communities, we have partnered with animal welfare organization Funcación Adan of Managua and veterinary team Aprovet of Granada to provide much needed care to the animals in local communities. NicaLove collaborates with Fundación Adan and Aprovet to provide spay and neuter surgeries, health assessments and treatments, vaccinations, minor surgeries, wound care, anti-parasitic care as well as flea and tick control to the domestic and working animals. As of March 2020, NicaLove has successfully completed our thirteenth mobile clinic and have provided nearly 500 free sterilizations and 700 free wellness checks to animals who otherwise would have lacked access to proper care.
