Over several years, NicaLove has personally connected with many individuals and groups within the surrounding communities of Playa San Diego, Nicaragua. Our connections have allowed us to better understand the overlooked needs of these communities. From the start, our goal at NicaLove has been to support these needs with sustainable solutions.
Starting in 2013, NicaLove has provided support to sports teams under our former organization (Double-Play Gear), school and community projects, support of projects in local orphanages. We have done this work in person as well as hosting many donation-collection events in and nearby our hometown in the U.S. From there, NicaLove has shipped and distributed thousands of pounds of sporting gear, school supplies, clothing, shoes, toys and dental supplies.
